Visiting the museum

The Clara Barton Birthplace Museum is open seasonally and by appointment. Guests enjoy a rich learning experience touring Clara's childhood home. Special programs are available for school groups. The museum is also an attractive setting for your organization's next meeting or social event; please contact us to inquire about availability.

Hours:
Closed July 4th
From June 1st through August 31st, the museum is open Wednesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. In September, the museum is open Saturdays only from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tours are also available by appointment.

The Clara Barton Birthplace Museum is in North Oxford, Massachusetts, approximately 7 miles southwest of Worcester and 55 miles west of Boston.

From the Massachusetts Turnpike/I-90:

Take exit 10, follow signs for Route 12 South. Turn right onto Clara Barton Road & proceed up the hill. Turn right onto Ennis Road. Park on left opposite the museum's garden entrance.

From Worcester:

Take Route I-290 West. Take exit at #5W - Route 12 South. Turn right onto Clara Barton Road. Turn right onto Ennis Road. Park on left, opposite museum entrance.

From Route 20:

Take Route 20 to Route 12 South. Turn right onto Clara Barton Road. Turn right onto Ennis Road. Park on left, opposite museum entrance.
